Salt Lake City (October 10, 2017) Mountain West Capital Network (MWCN) named Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors (CBC Advisors) to the 2017 Utah 100. The list recognizes Utah’s fastest-growing companies. Recipients were selected by the percentage of revenue increase each company experienced between 2013 and 2017. MWCN revealed the Utah 100 list at its 23rd annual awards ceremony, held at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. CBC Advisors ranked No. 74 out of 100 companies.

Each year, Utah Business recognizes Utah’s most noteworthy female professionals and business community leaders at their 30 Women to Watch event and in an issue of Utah Business Magazine. The event will be held on May 17 at The Grand America Hotel.

Salt Lake City (March 7, 2017) – CCIM Utah recognized two top professionals from Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors (CBC Advisors) as business leaders gathered at the Grand America Hotel for the 2017 Excellence Awards on Saturday, March 4. The CCIM Excellence Awards ceremony annually recognizes those who have had an exceptional influence on their communities by exemplifying the highest degree of business excellence in Utah’s commercial real estate industry.

Each year, the Utah CCIM Chapter board of directors selects three finalists within 16 categories. A panel of over one hundred business, civic and industry leaders judge each application for final review and vote.

CBC Advisors achieved top honors at the ceremony with two out of nine nominated finalists winning awards. Brandon Fugal was named Office Broker of the Year and Stuart Thain was named Retail Broker of the Year.

CBC Advisors swept the retail category for a fourth straight year with three finalists: Cameron Simonsen, Rob Moore and Stuart Thain. Thain received the Retail Broker of the Year award in both 2015 and 2014. Jordan Wall was a finalist for Office Broker of the Year, Jarrod Hunt for Industrial Broker of the Year, Felicity Hatton-Ward for Property Manager of the Year, Josh Smith for Rookie of the Year and Mary Street for Investment Broker of the Year.

Recipients of this distinction have completed an advanced four-course curriculum in financial and marking analysis, and demonstrated extensive experience in commercial real estate industry through their portfolio of activities, transactions, projects and work products. Monica Rafferty Receives Heart & Hands Award

Salt Lake City, Utah (November 16, 2016) — Columbus Community Center has nominated Monica Rafferty, senior vice president of commercial sales and leasing at Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors (CBC Advisors), to receive the Heart & Hands Award at the upcoming Utah Philanthropy Day Luncheon. The Heart & Hands Award recognizes individuals who make significant contributions to nonprofit organizations through volunteer or philanthropic service.

Rafferty has been instrumental in Columbus’ efforts toward developing The Hub of Opportunity, a mixed-use commercial and residential development that will be fully accessible for individuals with disabilities. The development will include NextWork Hub, an innovative live/work concept targeted for young adults with autism spectrum disorder.

“From the first site visit to negotiations for site acquisition and predevelopment, Monica has been a competent and decisive advocate on behalf of Columbus and the vulnerable population we serve,” said Stephanie Mackay, director of development at Columbus Community Center.

Columbus Community Center is a nonprofit agency focused on helping individuals with disabilities live independently in the community. Founded in 1968, Columbus provides employment, training, day program and housing services. Rafferty has served on Columbus’ advisory board and is currently an active member of the board of trustees. She is a passionate advocate for their mission.
